About Shikigame

Shikigame is a daily puzzle game about Jujutsu Kaisen. One puzzle a day, the same puzzle for everyone, and a new one when the day turns over. You get one run at it, and then it is gone until tomorrow.

No guess is wasted here. Name any sorcerer and the board answers with what the two of them share: grade, affiliation, whether they hold a domain, the arc they walked in on. Being wrong about the name is still being right about something, and every answer narrows the cast, so you close the distance rather than firing again into the dark.

Finishing a round earns cursed energy whether you solved it or not, solving on consecutive days builds a streak, and all of it lands on the one registry. None of that needs an account: play unbound and the record stays in the browser you played in, or take one and it follows you.

The binding vow

Every answer is scoped to the anime: Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and episodes 1 through 59, the close of Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1. That is manga chapters 1 to 180, and the puzzle knows nothing past it. A reader should not win a guess a viewer could not, so where the manga has since revised a fact, the aired value is the one that scores.

Questions

What is Shikigame?

A daily Jujutsu Kaisen puzzle. Classic picks a sorcerer and asks you to name them. Every miss answers back with what your guess shared with the answer: grade, affiliation, whether they hold a domain, the arc they walked in on. You close in from there.

When does the puzzle change?

Once a day, at the same instant for everyone, whatever your own clock says at the time. Everybody in the world plays the same puzzle until it turns over, which is what makes a score worth comparing.

Do I need an account?

No. You can play unbound, and your record stays in that one browser. An account is an email address and a six digit code, with no password to choose or to lose, and what it buys you is a streak that survives a new device and a place on the registry.

Will it spoil the manga for me?

It cannot. Every answer is scoped to what the anime has aired, so the puzzle knows nothing a viewer does not. See the binding vow above for exactly where that line falls.

What can I play right now?

Classic, in preview. The missions open one at a time, and each one opens for good.

Attribution

Nothing on this site was drawn for it. Every character portrait is official Jujutsu Kaisen artwork, taken from the infobox of that character's page on the Jujutsu Kaisen Wiki, then resized and re-encoded to load quickly.

That artwork belongs to Gege Akutami, Shueisha, and MAPPA. It is reproduced at thumbnail size to identify the character a puzzle is about, and for nothing else. Shikigame claims no rights in it, is not endorsed by or affiliated with any of them, and sells nothing. The wiki's written text is CC BY-SA. Its images are not the wiki's to license, and that licence does not extend to them.

Character facts (grades, techniques, debut episodes, voice cast) were compiled from the same wiki's infoboxes and episode tables, then checked against the anime and cut back to what episode 59 has actually shown.

If you hold rights in anything shown here and would rather it were not, write to hello@shikigame.com and it will be removed. The same address reaches us for anything else: a wrong answer, a broken run, a character the puzzle has misfiled.
